What a transformation!

This adorable home in Gresham, Oregon sold in four days. I had the opportunity, about a year ago, of offering staging ideas and recommendations to this client to help her get her home ready to sell. We finished the staging process virtually, which worked out great, as we were able to go room by room, making small adjustments here and there. Great job and so proud of what my client was able to accomplish. Here are a few of the before and after photos! Enjoy!

Painting the walls a neutral color made a huge difference in this room and

the kitchen as well! Lightened and brightened everything up so nicely!

With the counters, island and frig cleared off, you can truly appreciate the beautiful cabinets, counter tops, and colors of this lovely kitchen. The bowl of lemons offer a pop of color and they also smell good too!

All of this client’s hard work has certainly paid off. The house was put on the market and sold within four days, above asking price! This is why staging a home is so important!

I love my job! When clients follow through with my suggestions and ideas, it makes me happy and the results, I think, are fabulous! Time to put this house on the market!

Here’s a few of the before and after photos from my most recent staging job!

Simplifying the wall units was my first task!

Removing the loveseat on the right was the next item on the agenda. It blocked the entrance to the room and it really wasn’t needed anyway as the room was more than crowded.

Centering the sofa, rug, and coffee table under the window brought some much needed balance to the room. Adding a textured pillow and throw to the sofa brought the space a little warmth and hominess. Of course, some greenery and a few accessories sure help too! With the loveseat now removed, the space is open and inviting once you walk thru the front door!

The colors in this bathroom were so bold and out of date. So, just changing out a few towels, rugs, shower curtain and adding some simple bathroom accessories makes all the difference in the world, and for not a lot of money!!!

Love the simplicity of a simple basket, nice bottle of hand soap, and some greenery!

Again, removing a few unnecessary items and adding some neutral towels, shower curtain and a simple white orchid to this primary bathroom is so much more elegant and inviting.

I wanted to update this kitchen window so the view outside could really be appreciated! I removed the red outdated valance and added some simple shear panels which frames the window nicely now. Again, not a lot of money but a big impact!

Job well done!

I suggested ideas and they made it happen! So much hard work, but they did it!

Here’s a few of the before and after pictures.

Amazing job!

There was just too much furniture in this room and by removing just a few pieces gave the appearance that the room was much larger and much more open and inviting!

Decluttering kitchen counter tops and removing items from frig is key when trying to get your home ready to sell!

So much better!

I usually like to recommend a fresh bowl of fruit to be placed on a kitchen counter or island! It’s fresh, organic, and just looks good and all that is needed!

The table in this room was too small for the picture, the chairs had no purpose other than to fill up space, so we removed them. Sometimes less is more!

This now allows the potential buyer to use this room to fit their own personal needs.

Decluttering is key!

I always suggest to my clients that bathrooms look as “spa like” as much as possible! Fresh white towels help create this look – add a small greenery on the counter, a nice soap dispenser next to the wash basin, a clean white rug on the floor, and there you go! Not a lot of money spent, but it sure pays off!

I hated recommending to my client that this room needed a fresh coat of neutral paint, especially knowing how much they had on their plates. However, I felt it was really necessary as this was the primary bedroom. Removing items from the walls and basic decluttering and a fresh coat of paint made an absolute beautiful transformation!

Yeah for them!!!!

So, so happy with the results! So much better, lighter, and brighter!!!!! Couldn’t be happier!

This room got a fresh coat of paint too! Such a huge difference and one less thing that a potential buyer needs to redo after buying the house!

Much better!

Again, decluttering and adding white towels and some nice soap dispensers and a small greenery can make a world of difference!

Again, I can’t say enough about the importance of decluttering. You’re going to have to pack it up anyway. Why not start now! You’ll be glad you have some of this work behind you and your home will show better! So, declutter, declutter, declutter!

I know I always say it, but decluttering is key when trying to get your house ready to sell!
