Recent Staging Job!

Here are a few photos from my recent staging job! I know it’s a lot of work to get a home ready to sell, but the end results are hopefully more potential buyers and a higher listing price – at least that is the goal, right!

Living Room Update

I often go into homes that just need a little TLC. This home was one of them! The room had some great items to work with, however, just required a little rearranging and then removal of unnecessary items and then we spent a little bit of time decluttering. We purchased a few greeneries, two cream colored pillows, a round, wooden tray for the ottoman and a few wooden candlesticks and candles. Everything else the client had (we stole a few things from other rooms in the home).

(I wish I had taken better pictures – I get too excited and start moving furniture around and forget to take photos! I’m trying to do better!)

The hall tree and brown leather chairs made the room feel too confined and cramped and were ultimately removed. We just kept the brown sofa and balanced out the sofa with two end tables and moved the cabinet to a corner of the room.. Client had previously purchased the round leather ottoman, which called for a round wooden tray.
Tray was then filled with some fun trinkets.

The mirror was taken from another room in the home and the two glass sconces were hung on each side of the mirror to finish off the look!

Love how it looks, don’t you?

Having fun with black paint!

Painting furniture is a pretty inexpensive way to change up the look of any room, which I am all about! I purchased this table at a barn sale and didn’t pay a lot of money for it and it was this color for years, until a few days ago!

. First coat of black paint! It totally changes the look!

I like this color better and am happy with the results!

Little bit of work, but great results!

Oh, and while I was at it, I painted this one too!

After it was dry, I sanded the edges a bit, just to give it that worn look!
