Proper Placement of Furniture in a Room

Placing furniture in any room correctly enhances the overall feel and look of the room & offers better traffic flow! Here is a room where just rearranging the clients current pieces of furniture correctly made a huge difference in the living room. She was thrilled with the overall results!

Client very happy with end result – she said I helped to “lift her spirits”.

My pleasure!

Declutter, Declutter, Declutter!

Getting your home ready to sell can be a little overwhelming, can’t it? Having a professional stager come in to offer friendly advice & suggestions can certainly help with this task & that is exactly what this client did! After spending an afternoon with this client, she took any & all my recommendations to get her house ready to sell. When returning to her home a few months later, I was thrilled with how it looked! She worked so hard to make it “photograph ready” & it was absolutely worth all the hard work! Her home looked amazing & sold immediately! This is what staging a home is all about!

Suggested client remove some excess furniture items to showcase the large windows overlooking the backyard!

Look at that cute “pups” looking in through the window!

Again, removing and rearranging some of the furniture pieces makes the room look bigger. I Suggested a fiddle leaf tree to replace the television. I think it looks great!

It helps to soften the rock fireplace & make the fireplace look even better!

Fireplace, now decorated with some accessories & artwork looks wonderful!

Removing any unnecessary smaller items helps with traffic flow & visually the room looks bigger which is not a bad thing, right?

Again, removing small kitchen appliances & small tables allows for less clutter & better flow behind the kitchen table.
