Living Room & Dining Room Makeover

I’ve had so much fun the last two days rearranging and redecorating this living room and dining room. My client was the sweetest and loved, loved, loved how everything turned out. Here’s a few of the before and after photos that I took! I love my job! And, my clients!

Sometimes all it takes is a little decluttering to really make your existing furniture look better! Less can be more!

Decluttering!

Still decluttering!

After decluttering, we added a few new, colorful pillows, a couple of new lamps, and added a fiddle leaf tree in the corner of the room which helped tie the rooms altogether for one cohesive style, color, and flow!

I couldn’t be happier with the end results! I’m happy and my client is beyond thrilled with how the rooms look now!

Living Room Update

I often go into homes that just need a little TLC. This home was one of them! The room had some great items to work with, however, just required a little rearranging and then removal of unnecessary items and then we spent a little bit of time decluttering. We purchased a few greeneries, two cream colored pillows, a round, wooden tray for the ottoman and a few wooden candlesticks and candles. Everything else the client had (we stole a few things from other rooms in the home).

(I wish I had taken better pictures – I get too excited and start moving furniture around and forget to take photos! I’m trying to do better!)

The hall tree and brown leather chairs made the room feel too confined and cramped and were ultimately removed. We just kept the brown sofa and balanced out the sofa with two end tables and moved the cabinet to a corner of the room.. Client had previously purchased the round leather ottoman, which called for a round wooden tray.
Tray was then filled with some fun trinkets.

The mirror was taken from another room in the home and the two glass sconces were hung on each side of the mirror to finish off the look!

Love how it looks, don’t you?

It sold for $35,000 over asking price!

I’m so excited to let you know that the home I just finished staging just sold! It was put on the market on Friday and by Saturday night it had sold for $35,000.00 over the asking price! I am so thrilled for my clients! They were so much fun to work with and I wish them all the best in their new adventures!

Staging a home to sell can make all the difference in the world!
